Description
Broga Hill emerges as a captivating destination, perfect for those seeking a mesmerizing sunrise view through a 1 to 2-hour hike. The terrain boasts two trails, offering varying levels of difficulty. The experience can be tailored based on your preference, whether you decide to reach all three hilltops with distinct heights.
To conquer Broga Hill successfully, essential gear includes good traction shoes and mosquito repellent. For those with knee concerns, a trekking stick is recommended to navigate the challenging terrain.
While the trail may not be impeccably maintained, featuring elements like broken ropes, the overall experience is worthwhile, thanks to the magnificent and windy views. The hike, spanning 45 minutes to 2 hours, is not recommended for inexperienced hikers, children, or individuals with knee problems due to its steep and challenging nature.
Parking options include a paid spot within an oil palm plantation and a free area located outside factories. Access the free parking by searching "Broga Hill Free Parking Free Trail" on Waze or Google. Note that the road from the free parking area to the entrance is steep.
There are also two entrances—one free (by the state government) leading directly to the 2nd hilltop, and one paid (RM5 per head) offering easier access to the 1st hilltop, along with toilet facilities. Choose your preferred route and embark on an adventurous journey at Broga Hill.
